Web Developer Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
Directing or performing Website updates.
Integrate data from various back-end web services and databases.
Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility of new features.
Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using web development best practices. Perform UI tests to optimize performance.
Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements. (e.g., technicalities with Zapier, WordPress, Facebook, Google and others).

Core Competencies:

Web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficient in My SQL.
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP, and Python
Working knowledge of CMS framework
UI/UX design experience
