Job Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our partner’s team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations for employees and systems. You will play a key role in maintaining IT infrastructure, resolving technical problems, and supporting business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for hardware (PCs, printers, servers), software (OS, applications), and network systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues reported by employees (onsite or remotely).
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.
Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and security (Active Directory, VPN, etc.).
Monitor and maintain IT inventory (licenses, equipment, supplies).
Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and new technologies.
Document IT processes, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.
Ensure compliance with LG’s IT policies and security standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 2+ years in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS, Microsoft 365, and enterprise software.
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), etc.
